Still no activity...

The Winter Belgian may be fermenting, but it's not doing so in any obvious manner. Experts, literature, and leveler heads are telling us not to worry, so here's hoping this is just part of the process for this particular brew.

  1. read several places that giving the carboy a slight shake might jumpstart the fermentation? couldn't hurt i suppose.

  2. Yeah, I saw that somewhere yesterday, too. I gave it a good jostle. Did we aerate when we pitched? I wasn't in the room when Ryan dumped that vial in. We were around 68 degrees...the label said 70-75. I wondered if we're getting a slow bloom because of that, maybe?
